This was my first cycle racing!
It wasn't very easy to take all these photographes, because the cyclists are soo quick. My brother was one of them and so I really tried hard to do a good job.

I hope everyone is happy with this pictures ;)

My Degree Show

Today I checked everything. All my work is mounted and my stand is ok.

It's a really good feeling to know that everything is done....

Stressful week

The last few days were very hard....
On Tuesday we started transporting all boards up to Kedleston rd. campus. After a few hours all of them were standing around and John startet putting them in the correct way.
The day after we painted all the bords in beautiful white and when we finished, our tutors put our names in the stands and we began putting our work up.

At the first moment I was really disappointed because I only got 2 boards... But now I put all my work on and get everything sorted out and I am very pleased with it.

I am glad everything is done and I can relax on this weekend!

Today was a very important day for me. It was the first time somebody wore my designed garments.
We made some photos in our beautiful garden....

The Count-Down starts

In nearly one week we will start setting up our degree show. it will be a crazy last week with a lot of work.

So hopefully everything goes like I planed ;)

A good day

Today was a good day in university!

Got my last garment done. Now only little finishing works are to do- trims, beads and other stuff.
I am really happy....

I think everything will be complete next week. Then I'll think about my space at the Degree Show in Derby (Kedleston Road Campus- University of Derby)

Hope I have time to take some pictures of my work- that I can post some into my blog!

... was my first project at the University of Derby. I tryed knitting with steelwire, which worked quite good. My designs should be for puplic spaces- like museums, parks and playgrounds!

A projekt by Marc Damm, Victoria Patzl and Doris Spindelberger in cooperation with Dr. Leopold Kogler and Prof. Werner Pramel.
The name OP-JECT is a combination of the two words OPTICAL and OBJECT and describes the main aims concerning our project.
It's a kind of creative interaction of the topics light, room, object and installation.
At first we got some informatinon about four different light artists.
It was improtant that we had chosen very different light artists because everyone of them works in another way and gives the word "light" another meaning. In addition everyone has it's own personality in case of designing.
Our project-team is specialised on developing new varities of light and design.

WE DESIGN...

My affection for photography startet in 2004, when I worked 5 weeks with the german photographer Tobias Trapp. (www.tobiastrapp.de) He taught me the main and importaint things about photography...
After this placement in Germany, I borrowed my uncles Canon EOS 5 and made a lot of great photos!

But last year in June I got a new Canon EOS 350D. So I started making digital photos- you can see some of them in this part of my blog!

But I don't only stand behind the camera- I also like the work in front of it and the finishing on the computer...

So enjoy my work ;)

Night(mare??) at Jacksons Mill

I just arrived home! 22:30 pm!

Today was a crazy day- got up the first time at 5:00 am- someone was knocking on our (?) or the neighbours door.

Then in Uni- extrem knitting with John. We can't fix this pattern. Now we knitted it more than 20 times- allways damn holes on the left side.
But today, we nearly fixed it... NEARLY!
I am totaly stressed out, but John and me descided to leave it like this and try to fix this little holes by hand. I think that will be the best!
